Tuesday, February 19th.
It is getting increasingly hard to get good pictures of you lately.
Most turn out to be blurs and you seem to always stop what you're doing as soon as I pick up the camera.
So I snuck up to the French doors in the living room and managed to get one decent shot
of you playing peek-a-boo with me around the door.

Wednesday, February 20th.
I heard you struggling from the other room and came into the kitchen to find you like this.
You had opened the drawer underneath the oven and tried to fit yourself into it, but you hadn't opened it far enough,
so you got as far as your legs up to the knee and realized this wasn't going to work.

Thursday, February 21st.
We woke up to snow this morning.

Friday, February 22nd.
We drove to Edgewood this weekend and bought four chickens, which we've named Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
We go outside every morning to feed them and let you sit on the roof of the pen.
It only took you a few days to learn to say 'chick chick' and now you say it any time you want to go outside.

Saturday, February 23rd.
We were out late celebrating Papa's birthday.
I forgot to bring my camera with, so I snapped a picture of you when we walked in the door.
For it to be a few hours past your bed time, you were surprisingly happy to see us.

Sunday, February 24th.
We took you to your first birthday party today.

Monday, February 25th.
I picked up some fuzz balls at the dollar store yesterday to create a game for you. You promptly shoved five or six in your mouth. I finally got all of those out of your mouth and you had already put more in. This cycle repeated itself before I just gave up and let you crawl around looking like a chipmunk.

  1. Such a sweet little girl! I love the peek-a-boo picture!

    1. Thank you! I think that one's my favorite this week too - the snow one probably second.
